Description

This milestone, located in the grass verge about 250 meters southwest of Pont-y-Nantau, likely dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and was part of the Turnpike Trust. It is a simple, low, round-headed structure made of painted sandstone. The inscription reads 'Penybont 7 miles/Presteign 10+'.
