Description
This milestone, likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century, is associated with the Turnpike Trust. It is a simple, low, round-headed structure made of painted sandstone. The milestone is inscribed with the distances: "Penybont 5 miles/Presteign 12+". There is a trig point at the base.
