Description

This is a milestone located in the grass verge 300 meters west of the Fforest Inn. It is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century and was part of a Turnpike Trust. The milestone is simple and low, with a round-headed shape made of painted sandstone. It is inscribed with the distances: "Builth 10 miles/Kington 10 miles".
