Description
Llanevan is a building that originated in the 16th or 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 19th century. It has two storeys and features a long main range with an adjoining outbuilding to the east, as well as a later two-storey parallel range at the rear. The structure is made of rubble stone and has slate roofs with brick stacks at the ends. The late 19th-century windows are large-paned horned sashes, and there is a four-panel door.
Inside, there are some scroll-stopped beams and flagstones, along with a dairy that includes salting slabs. The room at the east end of the ground floor has massive deep chamfered axial beams, exposed joists, and a rubble stone fireplace with an open range, although it has not been fully inspected.
