Description
Ty'n y Bryn Farmhouse is a 2-storey building made of unreinforced concrete with a tiled roof, featuring a main west range and two wings at the back. The front has four windows, is tile hung, and includes gabled outer bays with a large half dormer in the center. There are concrete stacks on the left and right, with some parts replaced in brick, and ball finials on the gables. The half dormer contains two windows, while the outer bays have wider windows. The lower storey features two-light windows in the outer bays and two narrow windows flanking the centrally placed porch. The porch has a gable painted black and white to mimic timber framing.
The south wing, which was formerly a dairy, includes two 3-light windows with lattice glazing on the lateral wall, as well as similar windows in both the upper and lower storey of the gable. The left elevation of the main range has a gable painted black and white, with narrow windows in each storey that have been inserted into earlier openings. The north wing features an end concrete stack, a half dormer, and replaced windows, with a subsidiary wing attached to its gable.
Inside, there are timber stairs in the central stair hall and above the dairy, along with timber roof trusses. The dairy retains its original tiled walls.
