Ty'n y Bryn Farm Buildings

Ty'n y Bryn Farm Buildings is a complex of structures that includes cow houses, a granary, and a cart shed, designed with a model farm layout that balances aesthetics and functionality. The main building features an E-plan block facing west towards the farm road, with an attached L-plan block at the rear, creating three sides of a farmyard. The buildings are constructed of rendered concrete and topped with tiled roofs.

The E-plan block has three gables painted black and white, each with bullseye openings and ball finials. The spaces between the gables have 20th-century sheds added. The L gable has a larger opening, and its left side wall contains six arched openings that have been infilled with brick. The central and right gables retain their original doorways. The right side wall of the right gable features four full-height doorways and a window to the right. The rear elevation mirrors these openings.

The L-plan block faces south and has 20th-century sheds in front. To the east, it includes a two-storey granary and cow shed, which has a bullseye opening in the gable and a doorway with a ledged and battened stable door on the upper storey. The east side wall has four arched openings, with a doorway leading to a cart shed on the left, which has ledged and battened double doors.

The roofs are king post types with diagonal struts, all made of timber. Access to the granary is via a timber stair, and the cow shed below features a concrete manger.
