Dolymelinau Farm Buildings

Dolymelinau Farm Buildings consist of a two-storey granary and cart shed, along with a single-storey cow house, forming a continuous L-shaped range. The buildings are situated on a sloping site and feature cellars beneath the angle. They are constructed of concrete with slate roofs.

The granary and cart shed on the left have two large round-headed openings and a taller opening that leads to a concrete stairway located to the left of centre. To the right, there is a single doorway with a ledged and battened stable door. The upper storey contains two openings, one of which has a ledged and battened door. The concrete used is a coarse aggregate with visible brick fragments, created in at least nine lifts using shuttering. Narrow ceramic pipes are laid along the joints between the lifts to act as breathers.

To the right of the granary is the cow shed, which features two doorways with ledged and battened doors and two fixed lights with six panes each. The return elevation includes a doorway and three windows with similar detailing. Attached to this structure is a single-storey brick shed, and there are 20th-century corrugated sheet sheds at the rear. At the angle of the buildings, there are three tunnel-vaulted cellars made of concrete.

The roofs are supported by cast iron T-section rafters, with three tiers of concrete slabs beneath the slate covering. The cow shed includes some rendered concrete stalls.
