Description
The premises of Roberts and Quin is a four-storey, six-bay former flannel factory built in Flemish bond brick. It features a gently pitched slate roof and a saw-toothed eaves cornice, along with brick end chimneys. All floors have three-light casements with cambered gauged brick voussoirs, shallow reveals, and no sills. The third floor has two bricked-up windows, while the second floor remains intact. On the first floor, the outer pair of windows has modern glazing, and the inner windows are boarded over, leaving only the mullions in place. There are two doorways on the left with cambered brick voussoirs, and the doorway on the right has been reduced in height, both featuring plain doors. To the right, there is a broad depressed archway flanked by two deep three-light windows with cambered voussoir heads. The ground floor was formerly a carriageworks.
