Description
Studio 8 is an early to mid-18th century, two-storey house that was raised to three storeys in the early 19th century. The front is whitewashed and constructed from brick in Flemish bond, featuring a plinth. The later third storey is built in English garden wall bond. The roof is gently pitched and covered with slate, and there is a saw-toothed eaves cornice. A rectangular panelled brick chimney stack from the 18th century is present.
On the second floor, there is a central small paned iron casement window. The first and ground floor windows have early 12-pane sashes set in flush frames, with cambered gauged brick voussoirs above them. A plain brick band runs along the first floor level, and there are cambered gauged brick voussoirs above the doorhead, which features a modern door.
At the rear elevation, there is a heavy framed timber casement window with an inset iron opening light.
