Description
Berrow House is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a symmetrical design with three storeys and three bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars; the ground floor has tripartite windows, and all windows have sill bands on the upper storeys. Each window is topped with lintels that have stepped false voussoirs. The entrance features a painted stone or stucco pedimented doorcase, flanked by a window on each side, set between pilasters with palm leaf capitals. The facade is finished with a moulded cornice, and there are chimneys located to the left and right, positioned behind the ridge. Inside, the staircase has a wreathed handrail and stick balusters.
