Description
Jude's Fashion Boutique is a three-storey building that was originally a pair of one-window houses, featuring a tunnel passage on the right side. The premises currently serve as a clothes shop. The front is constructed of whitewashed English garden wall bond brick with a plastered plinth, topped by a gently pitched old slate roof. A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top, and there is a central brick chimney.
The second-floor windows, located just below the eaves, have shallow upper sashes with 12 panes. The first and ground floor windows are fitted with 16-pane sashes. There is a band at the first-floor level, and the windows feature cambered header arches, plain reveals, and stone sills.
The building has a plain doorcase, and there is evidence of a blocked doorway to the left. A similar doorcase leads to the tunnel passage. The rear elevations are half-timbered with brick nogging, and the third storey is supported by closely set thin posts, giving it a later appearance.
