Description
Cwm-hafod-march is a single-storey, two-unit house with a lobby entrance, dating from an unspecified period. It features a front wing added to the right end and an adjoining stable to the left. The house is constructed of white-washed rubble stone and has a slate roof with a stone stack at the left end. The lobby entrance is marked by a boarded door with a timber lintel on the left, while to the right are two nine-pane windows with opening casements, positioned just under the eaves. The front wing, which may serve as a parlour, has a lower roofline and a stone end stack on the right; it includes a twelve-pane hornless sash window at the front. The stable on the left has a central boarded door and a window with a slate sill to the left, which has been infilled with metal sheeting, and a very small light to the right. This stable has been converted into a garage, featuring double boarded doors on the west gable end. A shadow on the gable of the house indicates that the stable replaced an earlier outbuilding. The rear of the property is set into the bank, but details were not visible during the survey. The interior was not seen at the time of resurvey.
