Description
Caethle is a two-storey, two-unit building made of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof featuring stone end stacks and a central butt joint. The exterior showcases a variety of wooden windows set under timber lintels. The left-hand unit, which serves as a dwelling, has a boarded door on the right and a three-light wooden casement window with horizontal glazing bars on the left. The upper storey includes a small three-light top-hung window located just beneath the eaves.
The right-hand unit appears to have functioned as a small factory or workshop, as indicated by the large twenty-pane wooden windows with narrow glazing bars in the center of each storey, which do not have opening lights. There is also a boarded door on the far right. At the rear, which is partially visible, there are small-pane wooden casement windows with two lights on each floor, positioned on the far left. To the right, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed dormer with a three-light wooden window. The gable ends have no openings. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
