Description
This is a multi-purpose farm building located at Gydrhos, constructed from shaley rubble stone and topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The front features split doors beneath a timber lintel, positioned slightly to the right of center, which leads into a threshing bay. There are loft hatches on both the left and right sides, with planked doors that are arranged irregularly; a butt joint on the right suggests that the positions of these openings have been altered. At the rear, there is a raised winnowing door to the threshing bay, which contains a split door that is slightly offset to the left of center and accessed by external stone steps. On either side of the doorway, there are large catslide lean-tos that likely housed cow-bays. Each lean-to has a doorway leading to the inner return; the one on the left includes a ventilation slit in the rear wall, while the one on the right features a small window opening. The interior was not observed during the resurvey.
