Fedw-lydan farmhouse

Fedw-lydan farmhouse is a 17th-century building that was extended or remodeled in the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and follows a lobby entry plan, featuring a central gabled open two-storey porch with a pecked stone lintel and internal side seats. The windows are arranged in two and three-light configurations, with a stone drip course above them.

To the south end, there is a stable with a granary above, which extends to the rear. The original structure may have consisted only of the two bays north of the porch, with an entry located at the side of the stack. The porch was likely added before the building was extended to the south in the late 17th century, although the rear wall at this end has been rebuilt. A slightly projecting bay to the left of the porch may have originally been a stair, but it is now filled with concrete. There are 20th-century three-light windows, as well as a blocked window in the gable end with a drip over it. The farmhouse features a large central four-flue stack, and the southern bays have a large stone lateral stack on the rear wall. There is also a blocked gable window in the attached outbuilding, which includes a stable door and windows.

Inside, the main living hall to the right of the porch has ovolo-moulded ceiling joists that sweep out at the ends. There is a timber-framed partition leading to an inner room, which is divided, with a stair located in the rear section. The lateral fireplace in this area has been blocked. The outbuilding features a cobbled floor.
