Description

Bache Farm features a group of U-plan farm buildings that date from the 19th century. The complex includes a six-bay timber-framed barn, a single-storey cowhouse, and two-storey stables that are connected to a cartshed or granary. There is also a detached block that may have been a former wainhouse. The buildings are primarily constructed of rubble and weatherboarding, with iron roofs, while the barn has a slate roof. An external stone staircase is located at the left gable end, and there are slit vents on the upper storey and outer wall. The buildings have not been fully inspected.
