Description
Bestbrooke Farmhouse is a two-storey building constructed from good quality coursed, squared rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a simple rectangular plan with a lower service range at the west end. The central bay on the south garden front is advanced and gabled, with gabled eaves dormers on both the front and rear. The farmhouse has a slate roof and three tall stone stacks that have chamfered corners and oversailing courses. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes set beneath cambered voussoir lintels. There is a trelliswork porch on the garden elevation and a stone and slate porch on the north front. A date plaque is located in the apex of the south gable.
