Description
Acton Park Lodge is a single-storey building constructed from coursed and squared stone, topped with a red tiled roof. The upper floor is entirely within the roof space, featuring a mansard roof over the main section. The upper slope of the roof extends as a hipped catslide over a recessed entrance range to the left, which includes a porch supported by timber brackets in front of a recessed door. The entrance hall and a room at the rear are illuminated by small two-light mullioned windows. The main ground floor room boasts a canted mullioned bay window with a hipped roof, which serves as the apron for a gabled dormer above. There is a similar dormer window above the entrance range, displaying a date and initials in pargetting on the gable. A stack is located at the center of the roof.
