Description
Bryn-y-Pys Lodge is a building constructed from coursed and squared stone, topped with a plain tiled roof featuring scalloped bands. It is one and a half storeys high and has a two-window range. A lean-to porch and outshut project from the southern elevation. The doorway is located to the left of this elevation, within the porch that is formed at the end of the outshut, with the roof supported by a corner pillar. The wall above the porch is dated with the initials ‘EP’.
On the gable end to the west, there are leaded mullioned windows with three and four lights, set within a projecting full-height bay that extends the main roofline. Additionally, there is a two-light mullioned window in the outshut, which aligns with the porch, and a similar window in the main range beyond. The building features a coved plaster eaves cornice, bargeboards with pendant finials, and an axial stack.
