Description

Dispensary Row is a two-storey brick row of cottages, dating from the 18th century. The row has a double pile plan, with each cottage consisting of a single unit. Each cottage has a doorway located to the right of the front, and windows aligned on both floors. The doorways are topped with steep, 2-centred arches, while the 2-light casement windows have segmental heads with leading in the tympana. The corner where the row meets Pendas is curved, and the first cottage has an additional window to the right of the doorway. Each cottage has an end wall stack with a moulded cap.
