Description
Hen Ysgol is a single-storey building featuring a three-window range made of white-washed rubble stone, topped with a hipped slate roof. The eaves are boarded, and there is a central cupola at the ridge. The front of the building, which faces the road, has three tall iron-glazed windows with round-arched heads. In the center of the roof pitch, there is a dormer window that has a hipped rooflet, slate-hung sides, and a two-light small-pane casement. Each end of the building includes a single iron-glazed window with a round-arched head. There is a lower rear wing, slightly offset to the right, which is likely from the late 20th century and rendered under a hipped roof. To the left of the main range, there is a lean-to porch with a side entrance, and a lateral stack is now located within the porch. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
