Yr Uncorn is a two-storey building featuring a three-window range with irregular openings and a two-storey rear wing. The walls are made of limewashed rubble, and the main part has a thin slate roof with coped gables and stone end-wall stacks. The rear wing has a green slate roof laid to diminishing courses and a gable end chimney.

The central entrance has a door with an open porch that has a hipped slate roof and feathered eaves supported by wooden piers. On the ground floor, there is a single window to the right (north) and two windows to the left (south). The first floor has three small windows placed irregularly, along with a slit window at the right end (south). All windows are sashes, featuring four vertical panes in the upper light and a single pane in the lower, along with pierced timber shutters.
