Description

The tunnel beneath Bangor Road at Plas Ty Coch, dated 1807, provides access from the house to the farm buildings. It features a rubble stone wall with segmental brick arches supporting the vaulted tunnel. Above the arch, there is a thin freestone band that holds an octagonal stone tablet with the year 1807 in raised numerals. The northern approach from the house is lined with rubble-stone revetments.
