Description

The Boer War Memorial is designed in the style of a Celtic cross. It features a stepped granite base, with the lower section made of rock-faced stone and the upper part tapering to include polished panels for inscriptions. The tall, tapering cross shaft is topped with a wheel-headed cross that is adorned with interlace ornament in relief.
