Description

Bronceris is a late Georgian house that stands two storeys tall, with an attic and basement. The main façade features a symmetrical three-bay design, with two additional bays set back to the left, likely containing the original service rooms. These set-back bays have only a single tier of windows positioned at an intermediate level. The entire front of the house is finished in scribed stucco. It has a hipped slate roof with wide eaves that have been re-boarded, slender corner brackets, a rendered stack on the right, and an altered ridge stack to the left of centre. Small inserted skylights are located on the left side of the roof. The windows throughout the house are 12-pane hornless sashes.

The main entrance features a fielded-panel door with a four-pane overlight, while a second doorway set back to the left has a panelled door and a plain overlight. The right end wall is pebble-dashed and includes an 8-pane sash window on the upper storey and a 6-pane sash window offset to the right in the lower storey.

The rear of the house is also pebble-dashed and primarily features 12-pane horned sashes similar to those at the front. The three-bay main house has a central replaced half-lit basement door, with an inserted window to its right and a 9-pane sash window to the left. Further to the right, the service end has a small-pane sash window on the right side, accompanied by a side light and a panel beneath the sill, which may have been converted from an earlier doorway.
