Multi-purpose farm block at The Hully

The Hully is a multi-purpose farm block featuring an L-shaped arrangement of brick buildings topped with slate roofs. The oldest section is located on the west side and includes a lofted cart house, meal house, and granary. This part has a three-bay cart shed that occupies the center and right sides, supported by brick piers, timber lintels, and blue-brick relieving arches. To the left of center, there is a boarded door and a three-light segmental-headed window, which was originally the meal and root house with its own engine. The building has three loft openings that are unevenly spaced; the left opening has replacement glazing, the right is partly glazed, and the central opening is open.

Attached to the left gable end is a lower L-shaped shippon, which features a split door flanked by steel-framed windows. The return range includes two additional doors and three similar windows, along with two doorways leading to the former milking parlour, which has skylights. At the end of the block is a slightly lower piggery that has four replacement windows and a boarded door on the left end. The former pens on the rear side of the piggery have been removed.
