Description

The Hully is a 1½-storey house with a 2-storey northern extension. It features a timber-framed structure with brick nogging painted white and a slate roof, which has a brick T-shaped stack to the left of center and another brick stack behind to the right. The eastern front, which is at right angles to the road, has a central gabled porch with a 2-light window and segmental-headed boarded doors on the left side wall. To the left of the porch, the original house has two 3-light windows and a 3-light dormer. To the right of the entrance, there is a single-light window and a 3-light window above, followed by the 20th-century extension that features a 3-light window on the lower storey and a 1-light window on the upper storey.

The left gable end has 3-light windows on both the lower storey and the attic. Slightly set back to the left is the southwest rear wing, which includes a 3-light casement window, a single-light steel-framed window to the left, and a similar 2-light window above. The rear gable end has inserted windows on the lower left and in the attic. The rear of the main range has an added flat-roof dormer above a gabled addition made of brick painted black and white, which fills a small courtyard created by the addition of the 20th-century northwest wing.

Facing the road, the 20th-century gable end of the entrance front is on the left side and has 2-light casement windows. Set back to the right is the two-window northwest rear wing, which features 2-light casements and single-light upper-storey windows below gables. Attached to the rear is a lower former whey house with boarded doors, two skylights, and a brick stack facing the road.

Inside the original part of the house, the ground-floor rooms retain cross beams.
