Description
Plas-Offa is a house built from rubble stonework, featuring slate roofs that sit between coped gables on moulded kneelers, and prominent gable stacks. It has two storeys and cellars, with two parallel ranges. Each elevation consists of three bays with a central entrance; the northeast elevation includes a wide porch with a pitched roof. The entrance has a panelled door flanked by glazed side windows. The windows are iron casements set in timber mullioned and transomed frames, all topped with segmental heads formed by stepped ashlar lintels, with three-light windows in the side bays and two above the door. The rear elevation, facing southeast, features a framed and battened door with a glazed overlight, set beneath a flat moulded stone hood supported by brackets. The prominent chimneys are also made of stone, with multiple corbelled sections and diagonally set flues.
