Description
Irishman's Bridge on the Llangollen Canal is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a single tall 3-centred arch made of a single ring of cut voussoirs, which is set flush with the battered spandrel walls. There is a square plat band and a rubble parapet. A later 20th-century moulded concrete beam supports a widening of the parapet on the southwest side of the south portal. The bridge spans the canal and the towpath on its east side.
