Description
Bryn Eglwys is a two-storey building that was later raised to three storeys. It features a two-bay elevation made of brick with a slate roof facing Castle Road, where the central door has been bricked up. Each bay has paned casement windows, and there are small paned iron windows at the attic level. The stone sills and plinth run continuously with the adjacent properties. The building has late 19th-century gable stacks topped with yellow clayware vented pots.
At the rear, there is a long brick-built range that is two storeys high and consists of four bays, which ends against Bryn-eglwys Cottage. This section includes twelve-paned sash windows, a canted bay window, and a door located under a gabled porch. In the center, there is a brick stack with four flues.
The house also has extensive brick vaulted cellars that extend beneath the adjoining properties.
