Description

The sundial in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary is made of sandstone and features a tall octagonal pillar. It has a moulded top and a wide moulded base. Each side of the octagon displays a deeply cut roll-moulded lancet that rises to a pointed arch. At the top, there is a brass plate created by W S Jones of Holborn, London, which is inscribed for W Potter and R Edwards, the churchwardens, and includes the date.
