Description
Chirk Surgery is a two-storey building featuring a brick frontage on a stone and timber framed structure, topped with a slate roof. It has four window bays. The second bay from the east contains a modern glazed door, which is sheltered by a 19th-century gabled timber framed porch hood supported by brackets. A secondary modern door is located in the former carriage arch in the fourth bay. The stone sills and plinth are continuous with the adjoining properties. The windows are timber small-paned casements set in openings with segmental heads. A brick chimney stack is positioned between the third and fourth bays. The rear of the building, mostly obscured by added outbuildings, is constructed of stone, with the upper level being timber framed. The interior has been extensively modernised.
