Description
2 Holt Hall, including the Peking Garden, is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high. The exterior is rendered and painted white, topped with a slate roof and features a central pediment. There is a later projecting porch with a flat roof, which has a lintel made of stone voussoirs. The facade includes two wooden bay windows that are symmetrically placed. To the left, there is a 20th-century door that retains its original lintel, also made of stone voussoirs, with a raised keystone. A string course runs along the first floor. On this floor, there are four windows: three are centrally placed, and the fourth is to the right, all featuring original lintels with stone voussoirs and raised keystones. Additionally, there are two small oeil-de-boef windows and one blocked oeil-de-boef window located in the center of the pediment. A partial inspection was conducted during the re-survey in March 1996.
