Description
2 Frog Lane is a late 17th century building constructed of red brick, featuring a gable that faces the street. It has two storeys with attics and decorative brick banding at the eaves. The building is topped with a later slate roof and has a brick stack at the rear. Each floor includes one 2-light casement window with small leaded panes and rough brick cambered headers. The entrance door is positioned to the side of the gable section and is sheltered by a later wooden moulded canopy supported by decorative cast-iron straps. To the right, there is a two-storey extension built in similar red brick, which has smaller 2-light casement windows with small leaded panes on each floor. Inside, the main room on the ground floor features a corner chimney-breast and an exposed chamfered and stopped beam, with a similar beam located in the staircase hall.
