Description
Manor House is a late 17th-century house that has been altered in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with two ridge stacks and a single gable stack. The building has an irregular five-bay front over two storeys. Notable architectural details include a first-floor band and a dentillated eaves band. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a projecting two-storey gabled porch. This porch is flanked by a large casement window and a fixed light window from the 20th century, along with a plain sash window to the left. The first floor has five plain sash windows, all of which have cambered brick heads. Evidence of earlier window designs can be observed in the facade, and there is a sloping buttress at the right-hand end of the building.
