Description

The font, now serving as a sundial, is located in the churchyard at the west end of the Church of St Margaret in Withern with Stain. It dates from the 15th century, with a 20th-century addition. The font is made of ashlar and features an octagonal bowl adorned with traceried panels, which sits on an octagonal pedestal and base, elevated on two 20th-century steps.
