Description

The Hall is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in the early 18th century, around 1800, in the 19th century, and some minor changes in the 20th century. It features lined stucco on brick, with slate and pantile roofs, stone coped gables, a large central brick ridge stack, and an external gable stack at the rear. The building has a T-plan layout.

It is two stories high with a garret and has a three-bay front. The facade includes a plinth and a slightly off-centre 20th-century door, flanked by single tripartite windows that have splayed lintels and keystones. On the first floor, there is a dummy window above the door, with single glazing bar sash windows on either side. All first-floor openings are semi-circular headed, featuring imposts and keyblocks. To the left, there is a lower single-bay two-story 19th-century addition in yellow brick with bordered sashes. The gable end to the right has a tripartite window, a semi-circular headed window on the first floor, and a keyed circular garret light.

At the rear, there is a half-glazed door with a pedimented hood supported by brackets, above which is a small semi-circular headed light. To the right, a full-height canted Venetian bay window features a lead roof, a dentillated cornice, a fluted surround, keyblock, and imposts.

Inside, the building retains a dogleg stair with two stout turned and knopped balusters per tread and a moulded handrail.
