Description

Chestnut Farm House is an early 18th-century farmhouse with minor 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with tumbled brick coped gables and two gable brick stacks. The building has two storeys with an attic and a three-bay front, which includes plain eaves bands on the first floor. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century planked door with a plain overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all of which are topped with cambered brick arches. Additionally, the roof features two small fixed glazing bar dormers.
