Description

The lychgate to the Church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1871 by Canon Pretyman, is constructed of ashlar and timber. It features a half hipped slate roof adorned with small crosses fleury. The gateway is framed by ashlar flanking walls that support arch braced posts, which are complemented by a carved tie beam and cusped braces.
