Description

This war memorial is a sandstone obelisk that stands on a square plinth, which is itself set on a stepped base. The obelisk features a carved sword and the words "PRO PATRIA," along with the inscription "IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR JUSTICE AND RIGHT IN THE GREAT WAR." The stone plinth is adorned with a carved lion topped by a crown, and it includes inlaid marble slabs that list the names of those who fell, with additional inserts commemorating the fallen of the Second World War.
