Description
The Old Post Office is a two-storey building made of whitewashed stone and topped with a slate roof. It has two bays and features a central through hall. The entrance includes a four-panelled door, and on each floor, there are sash windows with 16 panes, all flanked by painted wedge lintels. An oval moulded stone above the door displays the date of the building. The structure has gable stacks and a lean-to at the rear. Notably, the lower right-hand sash window has been replaced with a fixed light.
Although access was not available during the inspection, reports from the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales indicate that the interior includes a slate flagged floor, six-panelled doors, a plain staircase, and studded partitions.
