Description
25 Whitecross Street is a two-storey building with a double depth plan, featuring rendered and painted walls topped with Welsh slate roofs. The entrance is located on the right side, leading to a doorcase with an open pediment, which contains a six-panel door and a plain transom light above. The building has three windows; the two on the right are set in a narrower bay above the door. To the left of the door, there is a tall six-over-six pane sash window, while the first floor features standard six-over-six pane sashes. All windows are adorned with hoodmoulds, with the main ground floor windows supported by small cherub figure brackets, and the cills resting on decorated brackets. The building is finished with a modillion eaves cornice and has a low pitch roof, with a stack located on the left gable and another on the rear wing. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior has not been observed during the resurvey.
