Description

The farm building at Bwlch-issa is a Grade II listed structure constructed from rubble stonework and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It features five bays, with the central bay likely being the oldest part, which includes a barn that has vent holes at the front, along with a stable door and a window. At the southern end, there is an added cow-house that provides stabling for five animals, complete with a feed drop from the loft above, a stable door at a low level, and a pitching door above. The southern gable end has three tiers of ventilation slits, while the northern bay has two openings. The central bay is notable for its good flaggen slate floor.
