Description
Florence's Hair Salon is a three-storey, three-bay Victorian warehouse building constructed from rough-dressed limestone, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The slate roof has plain projecting eaves and verges, along with a stone end chimney on the left that has a moulded capping.
On the ground floor, there is an entrance on the right with a segmental head and a recessed panelled door. To the left, a tripartite window consists of a 6-pane central section flanked by two 2-pane sash sections, all unhorned, and also features a segmental head. Next to this is another similar 6-pane sash window. The first and second floors have tripartite and 6-pane windows arranged similarly, with narrow 2-pane sashes in the right-hand bays; the first-floor windows have segmental heads, while the second-floor windows have square heads.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
