Description
33 Assembly Street is an earlier 19th-century, three-storey, five-bay warehouse. It is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring long and short quoins. The building has a regular arrangement of windows, with relieving arches above the ground floor and gable end openings. There is a segmental-arched cart entrance in the centre of the elevation, which has been bricked up. A gable window shows the remains of hoisting tackle. At the rear, there is a later rendered tower. One window still retains its 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case, while many others have metal bars or are blocked. The roof is covered with grey slate, and stone skews are present.
