Description
Glan yr Afon is a two-storey, T-shaped farmhouse with three bays. It is constructed of painted roughcast rendered masonry, likely brick, and features three parallel gabled roofs made of Welsh slate, with exposed rafters and purlin-ends at the verges. The farmhouse has brick ridge stacks with oversailing courses. The northeast side, which faces the yard, has three gables, with the central bay being narrower than the two flanking bays. The windows are symmetrical and regular, featuring cambered arches. The central bay includes one 6/6 boxed hornless sash window on both the ground and first floors, while the flanking bays have 20th-century steel casement windows. The entrance doorway is located on the west side of the central bay. The interior was not accessible for inspection during the last survey.
