Description

The byre at Ty'n-y-Ffrith is a 19th-century agricultural building. The northeast side features five openings, which were originally entrances. The two central openings have been modified to include 4-pane sliding sashes, while the other three remain open. All openings have exposed timber lintels. On the left gable, there is a partly-boarded loading bay.

Inside, the building has a four-bay layout with an earth floor. The original trusses are of the tie-beam and raking strut type, although the purlins, common rafters, and the first truss from the left have been replaced with modern materials.
