Description
Glandwr is an L-plan, two-storey building constructed of rubble with a slate roof that has a half-hipped design towards the front. It features deep eaves adorned with decorative bargeboards and simple pendants, along with a plain, squat brick chimney at the center. The entrance is located in the recessed section between the school, which is advanced to the right, and the main section of the house, which is advanced to the left. This entrance includes a 19th-century six-panel door, with the upper four panels being glazed. The return of the south section has a modern window on the ground floor. The front gable displays 19th-century tripartite six-pane wooden mullioned-and-transomed windows on both the ground and first floors, with the former featuring a cambered head and rough-dressed limestone voussoirs, along with projecting stone sills. The south side includes a late 19th-century four-pane sash window. The rear of the building is whitened and rendered, with low modern extensions and modern windows. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
