Description

This milestone is made of roughly-dressed slatestone and stands about 0.8 meters high. It features a shallow-pedimented top. In the center, there is a rectangular cast-iron plate that matches the top of the stone. The plate has raised and painted letters that read: 'Llanrwst miles 12, furlongs 0: Abergele miles 4, furlongs 6.' There are no visible foundry marks on the milestone.
