Description
The Agricultural Range at Ty'n-y-Ffrith is a building constructed of rubble with a renewed small-slate roof. It features a wide double cart-bay at the lower right end and a byre section at the upper half. The cart bay includes a wide exposed timber lintel and a 12-pane 19th-century casement window located above it, just under the eaves. To the left of the cart bay, there is an open entrance with three small square lights positioned diagonally above, the center light having a projecting stone sill. There is an additional entrance to the upper left, also with exposed timber lintels. The lower northeast gable contains a plain modern window set in a former loading bay.
Inside, the cart bay has a rough-beamed ceiling with incised geometric graffiti found in the plastered areas between the beams. The byre section has a modern roof structure with two bays and a sloping earthen floor.
